ADMISSION POLICY/PROCEDURE

All enquires on admission should be directed through the office of the Secretary to the principal.

Admissions are opened to all the classes all the classes all through the academic session.

Application to the school should be made on the form. This can be collected in the office of the secretary at the rate N10, 500 only for primary section and N15, 000 for secondary section.

Admissions are based on the following platforms: a.Academic/entrance test performance which should be above average in Numeracy Literacy & General Knowledge. Age of the child guided by the following:

IMPORTANT AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR STUDENTS’ REGISTRATION ARE:

    1. A copy of birth certificate
    2. Two recent passport photographs
    3. Medical reports on (a) Blood Group (b) Blood genotype (c)general Health report
    4. A copy of the last examination report from the previous school attended.

    SECTION B:

    Parents/Guardian of the child/children seeking for admission shall follow the steps below:

    1. Payment for admission form should be made into the school bank account (0000000000 UBA.)
    2. Presents teller of payment to the secretary for a receipt.
    3. Picks admission form from the secretary
    4. Fills the admission form correctly and submit to the secretary with photocopies of required documents.

    SECTION C (ENTRANCE TEST)

    1. Parent/guardians would be required to bring the child./children for entrance test as scheduled by the school.
    2. The entrance test shall cover Numeracy and literacy (Nursery classes), Mathematics and English Studies (Primary classes)
    3. The test shall be conducted in the classroom environment under the supervision of the teacher – in – charge.
    4. The teacher – in – charge marks and scores the test.
    5. The teacher writes recommendations objectively/principal.
    6. The head teacher/principal meets with the parent/guardian to discuss the child’s/children’s performance and the decision of the school.
    7. If the parent/guardian accepts the decision of the school, he/she proceeds to the next stage.
    8. The head teacher/Principal directs the parent/guardian to the secretary for the school fees payments
    9. On return, the head teacher/principal assigns the child/children to a class, house and clubs.
    10. The head teacher directs the secretary and the store keeper to issue the child/children the following:
    • The school prospectus
    • Calendar of events
    • School uniform
    • Sports wear
    • Books
    • List of other requirements
